| PokerWiz®
Ever since the original PokerWiz®
was developed for Windows 3.x in 1997 its one goal has been
to help poker players in their quest to play ever better poker.
Poker players ever since have recognized that PokerWiz®
sought and intended nothing less than to be the best, most
thorough educational/study program for poker available. To
this day it is still the most popular program of its type,
the old program happily running on all Windows platforms up
through and including XP (we haven’t tried it on Vista
yet), due to its robust design.
When The World Poker TourTM
began using the PokerWiz® in 2003 they were using the
old 1997 program. When Dan Harrington said in 2005 “I
like PokerWiz…” he was referring to the old 1997
program. PokerWiz® has been around, doing its best to
help out, for a long time.
But, PokerWiz® was indeed
getting a little dated and, with the explosion of the online
poker market, needed some upgrading, new features and, especially,
Internet functionality. |
